Designed for law enforcement and military police who find themselves inside the range of personal combatives where the retention of their weapon is at risk.  Techniques to retain personal side arms, sprays, batons, etc., are based on offensive response to attack by perpetrators who seek to gain control of an officer's weapon. 

The techniques are designed to disable the initial attack, and either gain control of the individual, create space in which to deploy the sidearm effectively, or terminate the threat if the attack is deemed to fall into the terminal threat range.
