While competing in collegiate football, Nick Martin enjoyed the rigors of training and found his passion leading him into a career in the fitness industry. His consuming passion for the science and psychology of effective physical fitness training has led him on a continuing journey of lifelong learning that started with bodyweight and plyometric training at the age of 7 under his father’s tutelage.
Nick began expanding his cutting edge fitness and conditioning toolbox gaining several certifications. All of these lead to him becoming certified under Pavel Tsatsouline in the fitness tool of Russian kettlebells. The die was cast, as it were. Nick first became a Level I RKC Certified Instructor and progressed to the much vaunted Level II RKC Certified Instructor.
He has continued his training development with industry leaders and world recognized authorities including Jeff Martone, Mike Mahler, Steve Maxwell, Steve Cotter, and Nate Morrison. Nick has now begun to receive notice for his training prowess and is counted among this elite class of fitness professional.
The use of multiple training styles and particularly his prowess with the kettlebell and the myriad of training implements he uses have allowed his clients to see fast and meaningful results in their training that are simply not achievable with traditional weight training regimes. Nick’s innate understanding of proper body mechanics, psychological adaptation to stress & training, and nutritional training have made his training regimes incredibly successful with his clientele. His clientele include numerous corporate executives, athletes from professional, collegiate and high school levels,and members of law enforcement. Nick's programs are targeted for each person he trains, with specific understanding of their strengths and weaknesses and the goals they wish to attain.
