The PROJECTATHENA™ Seminar is specifically designed for those women who:

• worry about walking home or on campus alone, or
• become anxious while walking to the car in a secluded area, or
• must park in an underground garage, or
• must use an elevator alone late at night
• or, are seeking proven ways to protect themselves.

The reality is that about every 7 minutes a female age 12 or over reports being a victim of violent crime, including rape, assault or robbery. This figure is estimated by the F.B.I. to represent only 25% of rapes, suggesting that 75% of rapes are unreported.

For those women attending college and university and estimated 1 in 4 will be a victim to violent sexual assault.  We can teach you how not to become a statistic.

We will instruct participants in this course on:

• creating an opportunity for escape
• situational awareness tactics,
• power projection thorough body posturing and vocalization
• initial response to unwanted attention
• defending against assaults from behind
• defending against assaults from lateral positions
• defending against assaults from frontal attacks
• the proper use of simple, direct and brutally effective responses to violent attack
• disabling the attacker
• escape from ground mount positions
• use of common items for defensive purposes
• the use of force continuum for application of defensive tactics
• interface with law enforcement immediately after a confrontation

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Fee is $95 per person, $75 per student with either a valid school ID or letter of acceptance for college freshmen.
