	NRA Certified Firearms Instruction The NRA Basic Handgun class that is required by Oneida County in order to begin the NYS Handgun Permit process is given every month at the Camden Rod & Gun club. This course is given by Mr. Asch and Mr. Wheeler and is held in 2 sections. The first section is 8 hours over 2 nights and is the information and safety portion of the class. Once the student has received a permit from NYS, an additional 2 hours of live fire is required by the NRA before the class completion certificate is awarded. Private group classes are available upon request. The next class being offered is on March 4th and 11th. Please contact Mr. Asch at (315) 601-4947 to reserve a place in the class.
